Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

You can take the metro to Farragut West. It is a few blocks walk from
there.
Their hours are:
8:30am-4:00pm Mon-Fri
1-5pm Sundays
Admission $5 for non-members.

Photo ID Required !!!!!
See volunteer outside room 400 for orientation and brochures. Microfilm,
city directories, some books & maps located on 4th floor. Also be sure to
receive a users card also on the 4th floor. Admittance to room 203 will not
be allowed without this card. You may need to go to the 11th floor to order
some records. You view original documents in room 203. You must place
personal items in lockers located on the 2nd floor. It is .25 however, that
is returned to you.

as follows:

Photo ID required and you must register for LOC researchers card. Obtain a
photocopy
card for ten cents per copy rather than 25 cents cash.
All locations have searchable databases, a great way to organize your
