Hi Debi:
Love to read your mail. It always gives me a laugh. Some of us need one
once in awhile.
You know, research for me, for 20 years, has been a FUN past-time and I
have met a WHOLE BUNCH of nice people. I try to prove all my info, and I
am not haphazardly entering data, that I am unsure of.
I try to abide by the RULES, but I find, from other sources, that some
people really get upset if you make a mistake. I have a friend, she is
young, and has only been doing research for a couple of years. She just
emailed me that she really got a chewing out for posting some info on one
of the list. Info that is available to all of us on the Internet. We need
the young people; they are the ones who will carry on our research. They
need guidance, not reprimands. I guess I should have emailed you direct,
but other people need to know, that they should be more helpful, and not so
quick to judge.
Anyway, look forward to "clicking you on".
Shirley

Well MSN has done it again. I can receive messages on my
account but I cannot send any! So I'm using this other
account. I do not have my address book but I have done the
obits. I need peoples snail mail addresses.
I've received 2 wonderful memories to add - thanks. I've
also got information for all my lists to post on our new
GenConnect Boards (DC I'll post to their archives). Anyhow
I owe answers, I know, so when they get this up and going
or when I change servers, I'll get back to you all.
Thanks for keeping our lists so great Everyone is
wonderful. (and yes, I have thawed out here - what's with
this week/ ice storm, loss of power, no e-mail, my son has
a 104 degree fever) Yikes , hope everything gets better!!!

Hi everyone - just a quick note to say that I have been
out of power for a few days. Just got back on, but I do
not trust it as everything is blinking. D. C. is like a
war zone - especially here in Montgomery County. Trees down
all over the place, power out to thousands (it was so cold
the other night-I HATE COLD). I was able to download my
messages, but for some reason cannot send from msn (my
server) this is my husband's account.
anyhow, I'm rushing here, but I hope to get the obits
looked up on Tuesday - Bear with me. To my other lookups,
I'm getting to them. And the stuff in the mail - well the
post office has been without electricity also. So I'll do
what I can.
Take care - I want to shut down for a while so this
computer doesn't "blow up" - the substation did a little
while ago!!!

Hi - Finally you say!!
Okay
Edith Frances Gunder was born 5/10/1924, was divorced and then married
Herbert Christian Chew, son of Charles . Herbert was born july 1, 1902 in
Jay Co. Ind and died 2/5/1950 in Pontiac Mich. They had Frances and
Richard.
Frances Elaine was born March 6, 1925 - still alive in 1967. She married
1-15-1945 a Norman C. Walter (b. 8/18/1923) She had a son, James Richard.
Richard Bryce was born June 4, 1927, died Jan. 24, 1966. He married Nancy
Sutliff (b. 10/14/1932) on July 7, 1951 and had:
Deborah Kaye- b. 5-12/1952
Victoria-10-19-1953
Tamera-10-21-1957
Susan-5-20-1960
Herbert then married Magdelene Willer on 1-16-1937 and they had Charolette
.
Now I'm thinking that Edith's last name Gunder was he married name from the
first marriage. I would definately find the obit for Herbert, even though
by then he was married again, it may give married names of the daughters.
Also, try to social security index.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Debi
