Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi,
This is a reminder. On my web-page I have the Chew Sign up area. I would
love to have some Chew Home Page links. So please, if you have a site with
Chew information, let me make a link for you. This would help so many of the
new subscribers!
Also, I have the Chew genealogy book for only a few more days. I just
received the book but upon review found a few missing pages!!! Such luck,
eh? So I need to send it back to get rebound with the pages intact. Until
then, (probably Monday next when I get to the post office) I will be happy
to do lookups!
HAVE A WONDERFUL, SAFE & HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Jane,
I've had another "organize file" crash, and lost your address. Please
contact me if you won't be posting to the list soon. This time I'll keep a
hard copy of your address.

I Had to delete all my incoming messages, since I was away yesterday, it's
been since late Friday evening. If anyone has had problems, if there have
been any questions about any of the lists I manage (Lamb, Chew, Engle &
Washingotn, D.C.) please forward the messages to me now.
Thanks - hope I didn't miss too much!

Hi All :
I am experiencing e-mail problems. Right now have 1,000 messages that will
not download!!!! Something is screwy, may need to delete all. If you have
sent me mail in the last few days, don't delete it. When I get this fixed,
I'll ask you to resend.
thanks - and wish me luck!

Debbie,
Do you have a listing for Cynthia, Nancy or Ely Chew? They would be from
Fredericksburg or Washington DC.
Thanks

Please forgive me for taking so long to reply, but we have a wedding gong
on at this time. Our son is getting married on the 14th and I have been
very busy with that as well as working.
I would love to have the info on Col John Chew. I am descended through his
son Joseph.
Thanks so much,

Hi All:
It's been rather slow lately. I just got my Chew Genealogy Book. It's
great! If anyone wants a lookup let me know.
I have a ton of questions. The wives are not really covered in the book and
that's where I want to begin (personally).
Meanwhile, post your queries!
Take care,

Hi to all listmembers:
I want to thank all the veterans on this Veterans Day. We would not be able
to do all that we do if it weren't for you. A heartfelt thanks to you and
your families and may God bless.

Hi - just a little spot on the society page of the Evening Star, Saturday,
September 7, 1901 - Washington, D.C.
Dr. and Mrs. Thomas I. Chew of 226 East Capitol Street, have returned to the
city.
Guess he was a big deal!!!
