Marilyn,
Hi, Sweetie,
I remember Rae quite well! I know you are
probably surprised but I feel more strongly about
my family than I show. I remember Dylan also and
was there when the remark was made about the
football player. I thought it was Larry but hey,
not a big deal. I have a really bad case of
sometimers. Sometimes I remember sometimes I
don't! I even have pictures of the kids when
they were little and would love some of them
now. Unfortunately, the one you sent didn't come
through so please send it to me at
gentlegranny(a)satx.rr.com and it will proudly go on my fridge as in an album.
I am on my way to St Louis but will be checking my email often.
BTW Next year, I will be in MI for my xx high
school reunion and was hoping to maybe spend some
time in Ohio if I can. I want to see you guys
and no one comes down this way.

Kaye:
Thanks so much for your support. This is the first year that we have done the walk, and even though Rae never knew my mom, she has a closeness to her that is hard to explain. In case you didn't know, Rae is my daughter and is 16 now. She was named after my mom's and dad's middle names. Her full name is Raénna Rose. As you can see, most people just call her Rae. My son, Dylan Rae, is 12 now and your brother (I believe it was Jerry) saw him when he was just week old when my dad graduated from Spring Arbor. He said he looked like another Bovia football player. Well, he was absolutely right! He is the starting right guard for his junior high team. He's been playing since he was 8 years old. He also plays baseball and is a catcher for his team. I'm attaching a photo just for the heck of it. I'm also attaching one of Dylan with Peg's grand daughters. The little one is Stella James (after her father's grandparents) and the taller one is Lila Grace (after mom). Enjoy!

Hi, Raenna,
I will see what we can do for this.
However, I did want to just let you know that we do remember Aunt
Lila and contribute in her name every year for this cause in San
Antonio. She hasn't been forgotten and we feel she fought a noble
fight. She is missed.

Hello Everyone!
My family and I are participating in the 15th annual Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure on September 28, 2008, in memory of our mom and grandma, Lila Bovia. Please consider making a donation of $25, $50, $75 or any other amount. You can visit http://komen.kintera.com/nwohiorace2008 and visit my donation page where you can make a gift via your credit card. Simply click "Donate to a Participant" and look me up by first and/or last name.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure raises money for the battle against breast cancer through education, screening, treatment and research. Best of all, up to 75% of the funds raised stay in our 18 county Northwest Ohio community. The remaining 25% funds the Komen Foundation Award and Research Grant Program.
If you can't make a gift, you can always register yourself and join the Race.
Thanks!
