Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Lavone W. Mills
Lavone W. Mills, 86 years, of Jerusalem Township and formerly of Ironville, heard her name being called, with the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant", Sunday, February 26th, 2006, surrounded by her loving family.
Lavone was an active member of the Oregon First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and Junior Church for many years and also taught the after school Little People's Church program at Coy School.
Lavone was a nurse at St. Charles Hospital before going to work for Dr. John Sinkey and Dr. Edward Conrad, retiring in 1978.
Lavone loved and lived her life for God, and with her ultimate wisdom and knowledge of Christ, she was able to win many lost souls to Him.
Lavone was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she loved her family deeply. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Lavone is survived by her daughters, Joanne (Walt) Crabtree, Colleen (Glenn) Poulson, Sherry (Glenn) Hill, Becky (Garry) Chio, Laurie Gray (David Rose), and Cindy Willard; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Buck Chevalier; sister, Donna Luce; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Lavone was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; daughters, Janice "Punkin", Marleen; and son, Joey; her parents, Harold "Fuzz" and Sylvia Chevalier; sister, Darlene Binger-Fredrick; son-in-law, Kim Willard; and dear friend and sister-in-law, Phyllis Chevalier.
Friends and family may visit at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Wednesday from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Oregon First Church of the Nazarene, 2350 Starr Ave., Thursday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. where the family will receive friends after 10 a.m. Interment will be at North Oregon Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to "her Joe". Tributes in Lavone's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
