I was born in Lousville KY on 3/14/50 to Edwin Chestnut, who father was Coleman Chestnut. My father and grandfather were born in Jeffersonville, IND (just outside of Louisville). I recall that my father had an aunt (unable to remember name) who owned a neighborhood grocery store in Jeffersonville.
Can anyone give me information as to any long lost relatives?

A genealogy of the family of JOHN Chesnut (b.Irl 1848 - d.NJ1922) and his brother WILLIAM (b.Irl ? - d.NY1935) has been sent to me. It seems likely that their parents and siblings are in my files. The genealogy was compiled in 1953 by Jeanette Edna Crum of Clifton NJ great-granddaughter of JOHN above. Most of the decscendants of the emigrants seemed to be in NY and NJ areas. Some related family names are: Miller, Burns, Heuser, Venner, Brown, Baldwin, Aldrich, Behn, Crum, Bedingfield.
