hi everyone
could sks help me to understand this burial I have found in the overleigh cemetery, the name is: SWEENEY X, address 27 Denbigh street where my ancestors lived, burial 17/08/1918 I am assuming that this is a stillborn or he/she died at birth, would the birth be registered, and the death, as I cannot find any birth/death on the findmypast site. and last but not least what does consecrated true means.
please forgive my ignorance

Hi Paul,
Some of this depends on several factors. Is the cemetery a public or a
church or a family site? Are the terms "consecrated true" on the stone?
What was the religion of your ancestors?
I would suspect, as you do, that this might be an infant. If it is a
church site or if your ancestors were of a religion that practiced
infant baptism or christening, the "consecrated true" would mean a
baptism had taken place and a record of the ceremony, including birth
and death dates would be in the Church records.
