This is a ascinating chart I found. Its title "Genealogical Chart of
the Chester Family together with the Lineal Decendants. The first
Chester on the chart was William Chester of Londn, Barnet, Hertford
County, England. He has a great Coat of Arms.
There is a second Compendum of Royal and Tracy Lines. The first
generation is - or reads
"ROYAL LINEAL LINE [Parent and Child)1 Gen. William th conquerer (Crown
Eblem) MALCOM, Kid og Scotland (wed)
MARGARET "The first bredbrand daughter of Ethelred of the Saxon Line
left side of this chart gives the
TRACY LINE wihch beings which begins with ETHELRED (called the UNREADY)
+ Emma -Normandy
IN THE CENTER IT HAS BLOCK ENTITLED ROYAL COLLATERAL LINE
AND IT BEGINS WHITH "NO. 1 Gen: Ralph Neville. Earl of Westmoreland +
Joan de Beaufort. Of this line the 14th Generation was Victoria, The
15th generation Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, and the 16th Geeration,
All Grandchildren of Queen Victoria.
That portion is just a littl inset.
back to the side which I tink is Chester, but is labled Pedigre of Sarah
Noyes. About a third of the way down this hugh chart, Centered is the
Name in enlarged and bold Case, preceeded by a Crest, is WILLIA CHESTER
of LONDON, BARNETT, HEREFORD COUNTY ENGLAND..
Under that Heading aare these Headigs. I LEONARD CHESTR = BRIDGET I
JOHN CHESTER = DOROTHY
II LEONRARD CHESTER = MARY II JOHN CHESTER + SARAH III JOHN
CHESTER + HANAH TALCOTT
THEN IT SHOWS IV HON. JOHN CHESTER = SARAH NOYES.
THEN this complicated chart which is 3 foot long and 32 ounces wide
really requires professional interpretation - but I'm still ecited with
it and will have fun playing with it!!

Subject: Surname link
Looking for any link in these surnames Durham, Reeves,
Chester, Hays, and Cardiff in Pickaway Co., Monroe,
Ohio in 1840's. Chester and Cardiff along with two
boys Samuel and Jacob Durham were in Danville,
Vermilion Co. IL. in 1860. Both these boys in 1850
where living with the Chester and Cardiff family in
1850 in Pickaway Co. Monroe, Ohio.
This leads me to think they were orphaned before 1850,
so I am desperatly looking for the names of their
parents.
A Jacob Durham is buried in a small cemetary in
Pickaway County, Monroe, Ohio, died in 1847 at the age
of 45. Other Durhams could also be buried there. The
cemetary is on land once owned by the Hays family.
There is also Samuel Reeves buried in the cemetary
along with Hays family members.
There were no Durhams in Pickaway Co. in 1840 but in a
book there is mention about New Holland, Marion
Township that says,
This is John (Johnny) Durham's grandson (Johnny was
the son of Thomas & Margaret Lindsay Durham. He moved
to Ohio in 1816 with his son John and his wife Mary
Ann Payne(later married Mary McFarland). Johnny died
1821, son John in 1853.
Durham property spanned the county line, Johnny's
property was disposed of in the records of Pickaway
Co, Johns will was supposed to be in Fayette Co.
apparently envelope was empty. This Durham line between
1789 and 1815 shows eleven children possibly all boys,
born.
Any links any one has with these surnames in Ohio
would be greatly appreciated.
