m. to W. Garnett, son A. W. Chesnut, my g. grandfather.
Does anyone know how to prove that Dorella Wofford was part Cherokee Indian. It states on the website that she is 1/16th Cherokee and my grandad always said she was part indian. I can't seem to find out who her dad was. I know her mom was Rebecca Wofford of Fannin Co., TX. There a lots of Woffords on the Dawes Rolls but I can't seem to make the connection to any. Any help out there?
Thanks,
John Chesnut
