Hi Pat,
I have been looking all over for you. I used to keep up with your letter a
bit. Please post this not ofr me.. thanx... tc
Hi to all CHESNEY researchers,
I have about 1000+ names connected in a family tree and about 200+ not
connected (loose chesney names). I am trying to find other CHESNEY
researchers who have family tree books OR extencive data on the family
history that I can swap information with. I have the Journal of Jessie
Portman Chesney, The Journal Of Alexander Chesney A South Carolina Loyalist,
and a diary of sorts by Alexander Chesney from Plum Hill, Ill., written in
1897.
I am useing Ultimate Family Tree Deluxe to store my tree info. If you are
using this software, it will be great to swap files via email.
My family extends from Robert John Chesney who came over from Ireland in
1772, to Alexander Chesney (the loyalist), to William A. Chesney, to Anderson
P. Chesney, to Joseph T. Chesney, To Willis W. Chesney, then to myself.
If you have any data that connects to any of the Chesneys above, please
contact me at: CHESNEY1650(a)aol.com, so we can swap data.
Many, many thanx in advance.
TC Chesney
Monroe, La.

I don't know if any of you would be interested in this, but if you are, you can check out GenealogyLibrary.com for free for 7 days. I know they have a lot of census, especially 1850. They also have
lots of indexes that might at least give you a clue of where to look next if you have hit the proverbial "brick wall". Just trying to help and give some information that might help someone who has
helped me at one time or another. Jackie

Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, California, New Mexico,
Oregon, Texas, and Utah.
Now GenealogyLibrary.com offers more than 200,000 images from
18 states of the 1850 U.S. Census. Imagine reading about your ancestor's
birthplace, names of family members, age, occupation, and other
personal details -- in the census-taker's own handwriting!
Every single name is indexed for easy access, and has an
instant link to the image of the corresponding actual
