I really think that I am kin to all of you even though I can not find
ole John Chesney's parents. He came to Texas in the early 1800's and
married Elizabeth Castleman (her father, Sylvanus, was in SFAustin's
old 300 colonists). John and Elizabeth married on May 14, 1830. Happy
Thanksgiving to you all from Tissie Schwebel in Lake Jackson, Texas
You're talking about Terri's "Chesney Clan" newsletter, right? Well, THIS
list was supposed to replace that e-newsletter -- and we were *all* supposed
to contribute our news and research. But this list has been
disappointingly slow. I'm guilty too; more work responsibilities have
curtailed my research, so I don't have anything to share.
Linda, how many members do we have? How 'bout if we do a roll call (now, or
after the holidays)? Happy Thanksgiving to all!
