Looking for some help.
On behalf of a maternal cousin I'm researching her father's adoptive
family from the Northwich area.
After service in the Regular Army from 1935 to 1956 he retired to
Chester. He died in 2007.
In his papers there was a receipt from Chester City Records from 1982
for the deposit of a family bible.
The bible has been obtained and it contains details of a family by the
name of Thomas who are unknown to my cousin & apparently not related.
I've researched all the names below for this family who originated in
South Wales arriving in Chester between 1861 & 1871. My research
indicates that there still could be descendants in the Chester Area.
Does anyone recognise any of the names shown below exactly as they
appear in the Family Bible?
