Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
As a newcomer to this form of mailing list, I am starting to appreciate it's
What I am a little unsure of is this conflict which appears to take place
between certain individuals, about airing their feelings!
Now that I have been made aware of these shady individuals, who prey on
people who know nothing of these practices, I will be a little more
dilligent about who I choose to correspond with.
Thankyou for the warning !, now can we carry on & try to help one another
with our common interest.

I am currently researching all Bulkeley / Bulkley Family descendants as a global issue, I am in regular contact with 83 descendants to date which I have tracked down through this form of communication.
The shared interest between us all, has prompted the need for a reunion in the U.S.A. local to very prominent Family links & we now have plans in place for a UK. version aswell.
If anyone out there can help in anyway or, if you have connections or information with my family name, I would very much like to hear from you.
Please note. the website listed below is active, but still under construction.
Helen Parsonage, would you contact me when convenient please.

Re Cammell Laird.
Many thanks to Gil for the information on the above, for Tom for their web page address (I never thought to search for that, will look it up with my grand son when he visits in the next day or two) and to Kay in NZ for her greetings, recieved this morning, as I too got tired and fell asleep!
It seems then that it is just coincidence that Cameliard (I got the spelling off my grandson this morning) was a city in King Arthur's time (Legend time, that is). Seems it was the home of King Leodegrince and his daughter Lady Guinevere..who married King Arthur... We have a grandson who thirsts for knowledge and the background to eveything he is studying. Needless to say we are learnig a lot ourselves along the way!!
Many thanks folks, have a safe and happy year,
Chrisine, Tasmania. (A place well worth a visit, especially if you have connections here, like Kay)
