Continuation. Do not trust other people to do your work. If you cannot attach records of 1900-1940 to your own lineage, well, alas. Web blogs are sometimes leads, but you are responsible for your own lineage. Do your own documentation and follow data entry standards (keep above GED level).

First, have a tree on ancestry.com.
Second, start with your immediate family.
Geography: Do not abbreviate geography. Always enter County (or Parish) and State, such as Williamson County, Texas, USA, (not Wm, TX), or West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, USA, not (WFP, LA).
Date Standards: When full dates of birth and death are known, enter dd mmm yyyy, for example 04 Sep 1882.
Census Records, etc: When you pull a record, correct the name. F J Roblers is Josiah Foster Roberts, or Emma Salmon is Emma Eudora Cheshire.
And so on...

My maternal GGGrandmother, Lenora Melinda Cheshire was born in NC 29 JAN 1830 to William Cheshire and Olive (Olivia) Hardy. She was first married to Daniel Mathis who is believed to have died on his way home from civil war. She later married a Sistrunk. They all lived in Hamilton County, FL. Does anyone have any information on this person? She apparently died in Hamilton County in 1925 at the age of 95.
Thank you.

I'm following this because of my Pankey lineage. I see folks are not following data entry standards. You may review my tree on ancestry.com for many of these Cheshire connection.
