Joanne Hughes has very kindly e-mailed to me information on Isaac
CHESHIRE from "Welsh Who Emigrated to Minnesota".
The book states that Isaac was born at Caernedde, about four miles west
of Oswestry in 1830. Offa's Dyke passed through his father's farm.
Can anyone tell me to what "Caernedde" refers?
Regards,
