I owe all the people researching Chesebrough a heartfelt apology.
Upon consulting my records, I found the men who came to America with my relative were not named Chesebrough, but Clabrough.
I hope I didn't cause anyone any fruitless searching.
Please accept my apology. Betty

My great-great grandfather was Henry Moses Cheesebrough. My great-grandfather was Raymond Anthony Cheesebrough and my grandmother Elizabeth "betty" cheesebrough-farrell. I know the decents of my great aunts and uncles if you would like that information. Are you related to the family? Robert Anthony would be my grandmothers brother. He had two children that I know of Stacey and Robert. All of the cheesebrough children of Raymond Anthony are still alive. I could give you contact information if you would like.
I also know some family history information.
Thanks
Again
Heather Salazar

Good Evening
The best person I could put you in touch with would be Larry Chesebro.
He knows so much about the Chesebrough family (think there are something like 32 different spellings) and he would be able to help you find the connection with your family.

Forgive me, I'm wroiting from memory. Will check my (voluminous) files and correct any errors. Three men named Cheseborough arrived from Manchester, England, in the 1920s with relatives of mine named lanigan and Donegan. They stated their destination as a family in Brooklyn named Cheseborough. I have the address and the name of the ship (in my files).
I don't know the connection between my family members, who were from St. Helens, and the Cheseboroughs.
And it's the first time I've heard that name. Betty

There were Cheseboroughs in Brooklyn in the first quarter of the 20th century. I only know because three brothers with this name arrived from England (Manchester to be exact) with some relatives of mine named Lanigan and Donegan and stated their destination to immigration authorities as a Cheseborough family in Brooklyn. I've always wondered what the connection was.
