Lancey: I'm so sorry. My only knowledge of the Chesebrough family is the
mention of my great-uncle Michael Donegan's having lived with them briefly
either in Brooklyn or Long Island after he arrived here from England. They
are listed as in-laws.
I did look up the name after that, as I thought it interesting, but
only found that two brothers came here from England before Michael (1907),
but nothing further.
Still, you've piqued my interest, and I'll look into it further.
I found the name on Ellis Island.com, a fabulous site that you can
search.
Will let you know if I find anything more. Betty

Hello Larry!
My name is Lancey Leone Cheesebrough. The oldest daughter ( born 8-16-57 in Mpls. MN) to Harvey Russell Cheesebrough, Jr., and Patrica Evelyn Mobeck. My grandfather was Harvey Russell Cheesebrough Sr., who married Ann Molin. My little sister is Lois M. Cheesebrough-Pegg of Big Lake, Mn. Just for the heck of it, I typed in our last name and all kinds of pages popped up, and I saw my sis message, to which you would respond too. I too, am curious about our lineage. Drop me a line on what you know about our heritage. Thanks, hope to hear from you soon. Lancey in Colorado.
