I'm researching my family tree, and I'm looking for a Cherry who may have been in Alabama in the late 40s/early 50s. He fathered a few sons, including Maurice Cherry (b. 19 Feb 1955). He was with a woman named Rosemary (or Rosemarie). Her last name may have been Cherry, but she later married a man named Jack Butler.
Rosemary (or Rosemarie) Cherry's parents were Nancy Hardy (1895-1981) and Bush Emory. Nancy's parents were Frank Cherry (b. 1874) and Rosie F. Cherry (b. 1876). I am looking for any information anyone may have on Rosemary, her husband before Jack Butler (who's last name might be Cherry), Nancy Hardy, Bush Emory, and Frank and Rosie F. Cherry

Hi Tina!
It's Jennifer (Roy) Barrows, grandaughter of Evelena. You are my dad's (Arthur) cousin, right? How are you? Have you been able to get any information about these Cherries? I can't find anything on Harry Cherry, either. Do you have anything on that? Do you have a record of Margaret's marriage to Harry or what happened between when Hallie was born and the 1910 census, when Margaret lived in Pleasants with her two girls but without Harry - with someone listed as her divorced half-sister, Elizabeth? I would be interested to know.
I keep meaning to ask Nana, but she isn't doing so well lately. I do not know how much she knows, since Hattie was in and out of their lives when they were little.
Let me know what you have found!
Jen
