Thanks for your answer. I saw that entry on ancestry.com, I think that they are in error. The Albert Cherry that I am researching died in 1927 in Oregon, not 1907 as the other entry shows, so I think that we are looking at two different familes.

Someone on ancestry.com (user name ives500) has this Albert Cherry's parents as Milton J. Cherry (1835-1892) and Mary E. Woodward (1847-)
The URL is http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/6420835/person/-1289700006?ssrc=
Someone else has his father as Milton jesse Cherry and mother as Mary Elizabeth Woodward (1843-1921). (user name lolamj)
The states of birth for the parents don't match what you said, but the spouse name does.
another tree with this name and these parents appears in Rootsweb World Connect. (wc.rootsweb.com)

I am looking for information on Albert Cherry's family.
He was born in Indiana in 1866. From a U.S. Census I got that his father was born in Iowa and mother in Virginia, however no names.
Albert married Celia (Cecelia) Anderson in 1890, she was born in Norway around 1867. They had 6 children, Dora, Georgia, Elynor, Bertha, Melvin and Lloyd.
I have a lot of information on Celia Anderson's family if you are of this lineage.

I don't have a picture but I am interested in A Sarah Cherry who married Augustus Satterfield and had a son named William born 5 May 1893 in Evansville, Indiana, Vanderburgh County. Do you have any informtion about these people?
I think there is a possibility that this Sarah Cherry's father may have been Adam Cherry but I have nothing to confirm it though I did find an Adam Cherry and a Sarah Cherry as a child. I also found that a Sarah Cherry may have been in a mental institution. However, I cannot connect any dots between these people. Help!

Charon, The post you responded to was written by my niece. Her mother married Billy Rex King, whose ancestors include Mary Cherry. I will do some research on this line and your line also, but Actually i am responding to your posting because of your Henslee name. My mother's maiden name is Henslee and her father was born in Hood County. His dad was Jeff Davis Henslee b. 1862 in Hood County, Texas. He married Ollie (Olive) Wooten and they moved to Seminole County, Oklahoma. Jeff Davis was the son of Maxfield Henslee and Phebe Campbell. Maxfield was first married to Mary Blackwell, 1841, then to Elvira Lorenz in 1847, Last to Phebe Campbell in 1860. Maxfield Henslee b. 1810 in North Carolina was the son of Enoch and Amy Mary Hasten. And so on and so forth. Do you think we might connect somewhere back there? I have more on this line, if you need some of it. Cyndy Myers myersntx43(a)yahoo.com

I am currently looking for any further information regarding my G-grma Minnie Cherry. There was a post here from 2001 and am also trying to find the author of that post as the information matches perfectly to mine. She was apparently born in Central America according to the 1910 census. Her father was a Leonard Cherry (b abt 1850). This is not only a family mystery that needs to be solved but also is a medical one for my family.
If you have ANY further information regarding this please contact me. Thank you.
