Hello, My granddaughters are descended from Aaron Cherry who came to Texas in 1818 from Ohio. They go through his son John Cherry. I was born and raised about 20 miles from Aaron and John Cherry's Spanish Land Grant land. Aaron Cherry is buried there, John is buried in another cemetery about 20-30 miles from Aaron. I still live about 40 miles from where Aaron is buried. Would be happy to answer any questions about the Cherry line.

I think there may be a Cherry connection to the Rives/Reeves/Reaves family ( my ancestors). Samuel Reeves is the name listed as the father of Thomas Cherry when he married Rachel Rives. Rebecca is listed as his mother. I would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for replying! My grandfather was Donald Eugene. I have nothing on Louis Bond or any family of his before he married Phyllis Beth Parks. And I have very little on Phyllis after Louis died. My dad says he remembers calling her "Grandma Tedford". So I'm guessing she remarried? I would love any help you can offer.

I am researching for a Wiley Cherry. I do not know if this Wiley Franklin Cherry is the same. Was he born in Hardin County, Tennessee? And did he have a son named Montie?
Thanks.

Hello Vanessa. I am not sure. I saw a listing that shows A wiley cherry (1870 census) was 11 yrs old and resided with an Eli Cherry (w). It did list a bunch of siblings, but I don't have them in front of me. Sorry for the typos!
Ciao
