Hi there... I don't know if anyone looks at this message board since the last post was 2005. But I was, of course, looking for family and don't have a lot ot go on. I was told my Great Great Grandfather, Robert C. Allen was full blooded, or believed to be, Cherokee indian. I saw your post about your Dad having a brother named Robert? ? Do you know anything else .. maybe who Robert married? your Dad and Uncle Robert's parents names? Thank you so much I would really appreicate your help. Thnks again

I am looking for information on Charlotte Cherry, perhaps born in Connecticut and died 1819 in Greenwich, Ct., and her parentage. She was the wife of Thomas Dayton of the Greenwich, Ct./Westchester County, N.Y. area. One of their children was Gideon Close Dayton, so it is possible that Close is another family name. Anyone recognize this couple?
Steve
