Any info appreciated on Henry Cherry, my g-g-g-grandfather. All I know is he died 1901, aged 75 (approximately- these seem to often be a bit wrong). His Obit said a native of Taunton. Also may be incorrect, but assume Southern England?
Migrated to Australia 1853/1854, married Emily Bosustow; habt 11-12 children born in Ballarat, Vic then migrated to Hobart, Tasmania abt 1875-1880.
Birth records, siblings, parents esp appreciated.

I am looking for the ancestors and siblings of Charles Cherry. Charles was born in 1890 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and according to his death certificate (7/5/1943, Ohio) his father's name was Joseph Cherry born in England and his mother's name was Maud also born in England.
I found a 1900 census with Joseph Cherry in Allen Township in Washington County Pennsylvania born 1850 in England married to a Mattie born in Virginia in 1858 with a daughter Katherine born 1897. James Cherry brother to Joseph (b 1853 England) is also living with them. Also according to this census, Joseph immigrated in 1881. It appears in the marriage column that this may be a second marriage for Joseph. I suspect that Maud was his first wife from England.
Charles went on and married Elizabeth Goundry in Brooke County West Virginia on 3/8/1919.
