I saw your post containing information on the marriage of Henry Boyer & Margery Mullican/Mullikin in NC. I have a copy of Lewis Mullican Snr. Will which I found in the Rowan Co., NC Will Book D. I did not find this Will until the early part of 1998. If you have seen this Will it only names three children of Lewis Snr. namely Lewis(Jr.), Benjamin, & Margery. My line descends from Benjamin. Benjamin sold his land in Rowan Co., NC in 1801 and moved to the upstate of SC(Old Pendleton District). Now I have found two of Benjamin's sisters in the upstate of SC. Henry & Margery Boyer owned land in the Old Pendleton District. I lost tract of them after they sold this land. Their sister Catherine Elizabeth who married Adam Elrod had moved from NC to the Greenville District of SC which is across the Saluda River from the Old Pendleton District. Adam Elrod died in the early 1800's and I found Benjamin listed on the estate sale of Adam Elrod. Lost tract of the Elrod family aft!
er the next census in the Greenville District of SC. Would like to have additional information on Henry & Margery Boyer.
This may be your Hillary Cherry. He is male. I don't know who his
parents are. He may have more children than are listed here.

I can tell you that she is not the Frances Cherry who married John
Cherry, Jr., in 1827. That Frances Cherry was the daughter of Paul M.
Cherry, Jr. and his wife Frances/Frankey (Mrs. West). She was born about
1803, and died before 1850.
There was another Frances (Fanny) Cherry, who married Isaac Hitchins in
1821 in Norfolk Co., VA. That Frances (Fanny) Cherry was the daughter of
Jesse Cherry, who was the surety for her marriage.
The surety for the marriage of Frances Cherry to Aaron Hudgins was Hilary
Hodges. The 1850 census (Elizabeth River parish, Norfolk Co.) shows the
wife of Aaron Hudgins (b. 1805) to be Mary, though not Frances, and no
children named Frances either.

What county was Alexander in? Green, hopefully? This is the right time frame for the Cherrys I've been looking for. IE Isaac b. abt 1793, Margaret b. 1776 in VA, d. 1847 in Green CO., Ohio, James b. 1789 in VA, d. 1851 in Green Co., Ohio and William Ross b. 1816 in New Jasper, Green, Ohio. I have more on them if they are familiar to anyone.
TIA, Wes
As to Alexander Cherry - I have no Alexander but do descend from Thomas
Perrin Cherry who moved to Fairfield Co. Ohio from PA and had sons John,
Nathaniel, Ralph, Thomas and William.
I descend thru Nathaniel b. 1790 in PA but m. in 1812 in Muskingum Co, He
did not have a son Alexander. however, I have not followed the other sons of
Thomas Perrin and I do know that at least Ralph was in Findlay, Ohio and that
he had two wives.
