Ever find that obit? Just curious. I discovered that Fritz Cherry was also known as "Bert". His middle name was Bruce. I only know that Fritz' mother's maiden name was Scott and that she was supposedly full-blooded Cherokee.

I am looking for any info on an Andrew Cherry (auctioneer, watch repairman, perhaps from Armaugh County, Ireland) and Winifred Mesney in Ireland. I don't believe they ever came to America.
They had several children, Josephine (nurse?), Winifred, Andrew Thomas MIller Cherry (my Great Grandfather) who did come to America. Andrew Thomas lived in Alabama, Chicago where my Grandfather Robert Andrew Cherry, Sr. was born in 1899. They then ended up in Portage County, Ohio where his wife possibly divorced him and he died in 1936.
Any info available would be greatly appreciated!!! I do have several photos of them with notations (Thank Heaven!!), they must have had some money back them because the photos were done in a studio setting, but I have no dates and would be thrilled to get anything.
I want to Thank everyone so very very much, alot of you wonderful people have given me different things to work on.
I havent tried a death Cert. but I have a feeling it wont work because my Grandfather didnt even know his G-ma's last name and I heard the family members are the ones that fill out that info.
I will keep trying because she is such a close relation and I cant believe that I am having trouble going any further...there has to be a way it just aggravates me :(
Please again if any of you have an idea or answered just let me know, Im thankful for this list and to all you great people that make the list possible.
Thank you again, Donna

Subject: Birth Help Please
Some Surnames....Tate,Plummer,Tucker,Williams,Byrd,Cherry,Batchelor,Elliot,ECT.ECT..
I was wondering something about births also,
My G-ma was born in OK (I.T.) around July 4th 1873 or 1875 but she moved to Ark sometime before she was 5 years old.
We figured her Mother died so her Fathers Mom (Clarissa) raised her in Ark.
Where would she apply for a delayed Birth Certificate???(IF she did.)
Would there be a reason around that time for her to apply for one that anyone can think of ?
Matilda is shown in the 1880 Census living with her G-ma in Ark. she is listed as 5 and born in Indian Territory if anyone can come up with any ideas of how I can find her birth and her mothers name PLEASE let me know
OH Also I just found out that on this Census Clarissa said that Matilda's Mother was born in Tenn.
We had heard a rumor through the family that they thought her Mothers maiden name was something like Speck????
Thank you for any help, Donna
