Interesting. My father's name was Daniel Vinesky. His family was originally fron Wilkes-Barre, PA. But they were Lithuanian, not Polish.
My grandfather's name was John Vinesky, but it was apparently shortened. His father's name (my great-grandfather) was listed as Joseph Wisznauckas.
Have you tried looking for your wife's name in the 1910 Pennsylvania Miracode Census? Try both versions of the name. I know I've seen some Vineskys - and I don't THINK all of them are related. Maybe some of hem are "yours."

Hi Doris,
I am looking for information on a Joaquin Fernandez de Romayer who supposedly married Aaron Cherry's sister, Honour Cherry. They were supposed to have had a daughter by the name of Partheinia.
Do you have any information on these people?
Would appreciate anything.

I get notices when other lists have emails on the about Cherry families. If you are a descendant of Clay County Tennessee Cherry's, the Clay County list is humming with activity on their Cherry families. You can go straight to the Archives.
www.rootsweb.com
scroll down to mailing lists
Localities > Tennesee > Clay County
browse or search archives
William or Wilson C Cherry is one name people are discussing at the moment.
Merry Christmas everyone, Wishing you all a safe and peaceful 2003

Washington County, Blair, NE was the burial site. She Married Harry C. Stapleton and was buried with him. The Cherry and Stapleton families had reunions in the park next to the graves. I attended the one in 1990. Harry was a corn farmer, "Breezy Hill Farm". He left the farm to his son Matthew who lived in Allen, NE. I hope this helps.
If you're looking for his parents, he should be listed with them in the
1850 census. There is a statewide transcription of the census for 1850
in Tennessee, done by Sistler. The transcription is done alphabetically
by the name of the head of household. It's available in the National
Archives and some libraries.
