I am looking for information regarding my great grandfather, John Willis
Cherry. He would have been born about 1878 or a little later. I do not know
his father's name, but he had brothers named Walter and Frank. They were from
Monroe County, Kentucky. His mother's name was Mary Ann, and she was
married to a Mr. Frazier at some point. Walter lived in Holdenville,
Oklahoma. His wife's name was Margaret, and they had several children. Some
of them were Emma, Lillian, Shelley, and Pauline, I think. I have lost
contact with them. Any information regarding this family would be much
appreciated.

Dear Doreen,
A bit confused, you say Henry, born Oxford about 1885, but then say on the
1881 he is married with children.
Can you confirm d.o.b. Also do you know which part of Oxfordshire he came
from. Most of mine came from around Wheatfield/Adwell/South Weston/
Tetsworth etc.
Regards
Lynn Eldridge (nee Cherry)

She is buried at Boney or Old Liberty Church Cemetery in Sumter Co. near her father- in- law the Rev. Jared W. Cherry and his second wife Susan Jenkins, Henry's mother.
Henry may have been killed in the Civil War, but I can't find a record.
