would help, too.

Searching for info on the parents of David Sherry b 1792 in NJ. He lived most of his life in Atlantic(previously Gloucester) County, in Weymouth & DaCosta. He was born in Pemberton, Burlington Co. His father, James Sherry supposedly was a Hessian who deserted and married a colonial woman after changing his last name from "Sch---" something. Another child of James & Rebecca may have been Abigail. I do not believe that Margaret Sherry
of Burlington Co. is related. If anyone could help with David's parents I would be glad to share.

TO All "Blind Copied" People on my Address Book List!
Sorry to say that a person with my E-mail address "got infected" and it was passed on to me from his E-mail Address Book without any correspondence between us! When I looked (following the enclosed instructions) - sure enough - I had gotten the Virus Automatically. My Norton and Black Ice did not stop it!
Please follow the instructions to see if it was sent to you automatically and if so you can get rid of it by following the remainder of the instructions. It worked for me.
I sent this message to my Address Book List as a "Blind Copy" so as not to spread your addresses around.
SORRY FOR THE PROBLEM! One of the HAZARDS of using "these here new fangled" computers!

Dear All,
Sorry to tell you this, but I have picked up a virus that is transmitted automatically via address books. Because I have your address means that you're likely to have the virus and everyone is your address book may also have it. The virus is not detected by McAfee or Norton, and lies dormant for 14 days before it then closes down your entire system.
The attached letter is a simple yet effective method of finding and deleting the virus before it can do you any harm. > > > > This is a virus that is spread from address book to

My maiden name was Cherry. I was raised in Friendship, TN, and my grandfather, Henry Cherry was from Halls, TN. He had a sister named Ethel and a brother named George, all deceased. I would be happy to talk with her and share what information I have.
I'm not sure who this one belongs to but a copy of - Record of deaths,
probate court for Hocking Co.OH. list that of an ELIZABETH CHERRY Jr.,
age 40, born Guernsey Co. OH., single, who died of lung fever Aug 2,
1871. at Washington twp. Hocking Co.OH. It does not list her parents or
next of kin.
As the date 1878 11 May appears in the left hand column for 10
Washington twp deaths and those for others in other twps show death
dates of 1877 and 1878 intermixed, it appears earlier records were
entered into this newer record.
Elizabeth CHERRY Jr. would have been born abt 1831 and could have been
daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth CHERRY of Guernsey Co. in 1830's and
1840's. This has not been confirmed.

Hello,
I just posted an old newspaper story that I scanned from an original issue of an 1851 newspaper. It's about the murder of Solomon CHERRY by his brother Uriah CHERRY at Deep Creek (near Norfolk?), VA. It was reported in the Evansville Weekly Journal (IN) on April 10, 1851, and you can see it online here:
http://theoldentimes.com/ucherry51va.html
I hope it's helpful!
