I've "rescued" an old photograph of Lucy Belle CHENOWETH which was taken at
the Howard Studio in Fullerton, Nebraska. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the early 1900's with Lucy appearing to be about 1 year old at
the time it was taken. In addition to her name, someone has written "for
Mrs. W. A. T. CAMPBELL" on the back of the photograph, likely to the person
to whom the photograph was originally given. Based on limited research I
was able to locate the following information regarding Lucy and her family:
Lucy Belle CHENOWETH was b. 19 Jun 1900 in Fullerton, NE to parents Andrew
Carson CHENOWETH (b. 15 Jul 1860 in Alvin, IL) and Martha Augusta Grace
SESSIONS (b. 30 Aug 1860 in Utica, NY). Lucy married Charles Elmer MCCLURG
(b. 20 Jun 1898 in Dustin, NE) on 1 Jun 1923. Lucy died in Stuart, NE. on
30 Jul 1933.
Census records provide the following information:
1910 census of Dustin Township, NE:
Andrew CHENOWETH, age 49, married 25 years, born IL, parents born OH, a
Farmer
Martha G. CHENOWETH, wife, age 49, married 25 years, 4 children/4 living,
born NY, parents born NY/Wales
Nelly G. CHENOWETH, dau, age 13, born NE
Lucy B. CHENOWETH, dau, age 10, born NE
1920 census of Cleveland, NE:
Andrew CHENOWETH, age 59, born IL, parents born OH, a Stock Farmer
Martha CHENOWETH, wife, age 59, born NY, parents born NY/Wales

Nellie CHENOWETH, dau, age 23, born NE, a Stock Farm Cook
Lucy CHENOWETH, dau, age 20, born NE
+ 1 Stock Farm Laborer
I am hoping to locate someone from this CHENOWETH Family so that the
photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this
family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
