Don't have your e-mail address so am using this way to answer and thank you for the information on the Jacksons. Was going to ask you about the Nash's but found out who they were. I have a picture of my mother's of them.
I kind of thought William was next to Tommy, but someone told me their was a headstone with Chenault on it close to the entrance to the new part.
Udora and Edgar are buried in the Catholic Cemetery in LaPorte, Texas. This is where they raised their family.
Their marriage license is in the Rockwall County Records on the internet.
I have several pictures of John Everett. He lived in Altus, OK. Is this why Ruth Ann went to Ok.? Did she take some of the younger children with her? I also heard she lost the dairy because one of the kids got into some trouble. Do you have any answers, hope so.
I live in Georgetown, Tx. just north of Austin. Would be nice if we could meet someday.
Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
Eileen.

I have the Jackson family back to Essex, Va.. Are you kin to Michele? I found where I had traded info with her. Also talked traded e-mails with a David Chenault from Germany. He had me call and talk to his grandmother in Dallas. She thinks Wesley and William are half-brothers but I cannot find any thing to prove that.
I understood Ruth Ann lost the dairy because one of the kids got into some trouble. She went to west Texas and then on to Oklahoma where Everett and Ida lived. My mother and daddy went to Oklahoma to visit them, I have a few pictures from there.
I would like to have the lyrics to the song
We went to the Milwood cemetery last year. We could not find a headstone for William Chenault. Have you tried to get a death certificate for him?
Please let me hear from you again.
Eileen

Irene, did you ever find more about William Chenault before he came to Texas. I know he came with the Peters Colony from Indiana in 1846. I too have wanted to know his relation to Wesley Chenault. There must be one. My g-grandmother was Sarah Lenora 'Maggie' Chenault Crutchfield Paris, the older sister of your g-grandmother Udora 'Dora' who married Ed Gay. My father, Theophilus Sparks, Jr. worked to get the Millwood Cemetery, where William Chenault is buried, marked with a historical marker, since he was a Mexican War veteran. The Sam Bass connection is because of Ruth Ann Jackson Chenault. Frank Jackson ran with the gang and is talked of in the song The Legend of Sam Bass. I have the Jackson family line back to Carrickfergus Ireland. Please let me know if you are interested in sharing information. I can send the lyrics to the song, too.
Arch's father, George, and my great grand father, Will were 1/2 brothers.
Who was your grandfather?
