hi all
Just wanted to let you know over the weekend I have compiled allot of the
Cheever information i have gathered thru the years from many many different
sources of information and put on line. It only goes to the late 1800's to
early 1900's. THIS IS ONLY FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. As I'm sure there
are errors which I noted at the top of the page. If you find mistakes please
let me know and I'll try to correct them. My line is thru Ezekiel Cheever
second wife Ellen down to Samuel W. Cheever. Have more on this line but for
privacy ( as many of the line are still living) did not want to post that
information. But will be happy to share.
Also have come across the name Bartholomew Cheever who came to the US around
1637 from Canterbury Co. Kent. Does anyone know if he was related to Ezekiel
Cheever.
Beside my direct line am researching the Cheever name in general.
If you wish to view the information go to
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/1006 and click on Cheever. Homepage
isn't much but hope to improve as time goes on.
Appreciated an comments. Can contact me at this address or

Hi all!
I know that this is a fairly small list, but I was wondering if there was
anyone on it that is interested in the surname CHEEVERS?
My ancestors immigrated from Ireland to Brantford, Ontario, Canada I believe
during 1840's. Most of the family stayed in the area, but one branch moved
to Ohio in the early 1870's.
If anyone is interested in more information please feel free to contact me.
Thank you
Joanna Cheevers
Hi all
I've come across a site that list a skinner as a dealer in hides or a mule
driver.
I know several people have asked this question as William Cheever was a
skinner
Here's the site where I found it.

Does anyone have info re parents of Sarah Cheever? She (supposedly b. abt
1600 in King¹s Lynn, Norfolk, England , and d. abt. 1674) married John
Keney 1621 in King¹s Lynn, Norfolk, England. They had child Henry b. 1623
who married Ann Putname. Any help is appreciated.
Good Evening All,
I've been on this list since Judy started it, but because of other
obligations, this is my first opportunity to post my CHEEVER.
Judy has shared with me what she has, and like several of you, I am
descended from Ezekiel CHEEVER through his daughter Mary CHEEVER Lewis.
I am very interested in meeting any descendants of Mary and most willing
to share what I have.
Thanks in advance!
Liz

Hello everyone
I, too, believe I am a descendant of Ezekiel, but have yet found my "missing
link" ....supposedly to Thomas Cheever of Rumney Marsh (Chelsea) who settled
in the Saugus, Lynn area?? Have also been told we are related to the noted
Dr. Abijah Cheever of Saugus? Here's as far as I have traced back without
going into assumptions as to who the parents of James are.
James Cheever b. abt 1771 and (Mrs) Margaret Willson m. Saugus, MA 1791
..William Cheever b. 1795 m. Lucy Penerson, Saugus, MA 1815
....Charles A. Cheever b. 1824 m. (2) Catherine T. Roach, Lynn, MA 1854
......James William Cheever b. 1856 m. Mary A. Kane, Lynn, MA ?
........Catherine M. Cheever b. 1886 m. Walter McNamara, Lynn, MA 1904
Catherine Cheever was my grandmother. Would love to "talk" to anyone who can
"relate" to this line.
Barbara
