I am looking for the birthplace and parents of Wiliam H. Cheeseman/Cheesman/Cheelsman, born in the 1840's in Pennsylvania. His parents were born in New Jersey. He may have served in the Civil War in the Union Army in a Pennsylvania regiment. After the war, he lived in West Virginia, and then moved to Baltimore, Maryland. He may have moved to DC between the 1900 and 1910 census. Any information would be greatly apreciated.

Through census and BMD records I may have found a link to my family tree with the Cheeseman's from Stockbury/Hucking area of Kent.
One family in particular, father Thomas, mother Marina and children Frederick Henry, Edward, William, John and Thomas (1851 census). Thomas's father may have been William.
Does anyone have any family connections to this family in this area of Kent or have information about them?
Thanks.
