Hi Pat,
I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Since the time of the original posting, I have sorted out most of the info. "Brother" Ray died in 1929 near Farmington, Michigan. It was a drowning in a small farm pond under suspicious circumstances. Your mother's memory must have something to do with his preparation for burial as I think it possible that Brother was brought back to OH for that. I've not proved that, though. That is the only explanation I can think of for an impressionable memory such as that.
So, most of the story about these kids, I have pieced together, the only missing piece is that Bus reportedly had a daughter, and we know nothing of her or anything much of Bus' wives.
I will email you the article from the Farmington paper about Brother that gives some of the details.
Thanks!

Dear LuAnn: I wsa reading some old queries about the Cheeseman's and ran across this one. My mother (Charles' oldest daughter, Dorothy) passed away in November, 2003. I remember her talking about Mime Gayhart. (One of Gr. Uncle Arthur's wives) Everyone refers to her as Mynah, but I remember mother saying it was Mime. I do remember her talking too about Bus' brother, who everyone called "Brother." Mom was just little when he died (between 1928-1930) because somehow, she got into the parlor at her grandparent's house when they were draining the blood from him. Now, I am not certain, but he may have been killed in a hunting accident??? If you are near Nelsonville, (where the incident occurred) you may be able to go to the library and look it up. I know his last name was Cheeseman and he died between those yrs.
