Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I'm not too sure if we are on the same wavelength, but here is a marriage record from 1888 that I have in my family tree. It does sound familiar. I don't have any information on their children, but I have been told that they did move away somewhere south. Let me know if you think there is a connection.

St. Albans, VT — Sylvia Ruth Cheeseman, 80, of St. Albans, Vt., passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at the Northwest Medical Center in St. Albans, Vt.
She was born June 18, 1922, in Dannemora, N.Y., the daughter of Lewis and Geneva (Garren) Frenyea.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Morton Emery, who passed away in 1962, her second husband, Arthur Cheeseman, who passed away in May of this year, and one sister, Audrey Myatt.
Sylvia is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, John and Carol Favreau of Champlain, N.Y.; two ladies that she brought up as daughters, Lillian Cookman and her husband Ralph of Champlain and Lucy Hebert; one brother, Austin Carlton Frenyea of Beekmantown, N.Y.; one sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Janis Gardener of West Chazy. Several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public calling hours. Burial will take place later in the year in St. Mary's Cemetery in Champlain, N.Y.
Arrangements are with the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain, N.Y.
