After a lot of searching, I finally confirmed that William Cheeseman was my great great grandfather. According to the documents I received from the National Archives, his father was John Cheeseman born in England abt 1818. He married Betsey Mason, born in England abt. 1819. They had 2 children born in England - William and Robert before they emmigrated to the US settling in Franklin County, Ohio in 1852. They had 4 other children in Ohio - Charles, Philip, Lizanka, and Franklin.
I know it is a long shot but I am trying to find who John and Betsey Mason Cheeseman's parents were and where in England they came from. I would appreciated any and all information. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for information related to a Vesta Cochran of Kingsviille, Missouri. Vesta was born somewhere in Kansas. When she was living in Kingsville, Missouri she married a man by the name of Cheeseman sometime around 1911 to 1915. We think they had one son. The couple either divorced or Mr. Chesseman died around 1915-1916. From 1917 to around 1921 Vesta Cochran Cheeseman lived in Plains, Kansas. Vesta Cochran Cheeseman had a brother by the name of Ray Cochran.
Her parents were D. R. Cochran and Martha E. Cochran
of Kingsville, Missouri. She also had a sister by the name of Evy S. Cochran and brothers by the name of Frank, Jammie ? and Carl C. Cochran. Thanks.
