Hi Andrew,
Found this amongst my records for the 1861 census at Twickenham:
Joseph Cheeseman age 22 Fisherman Born Twickenham
Ellen Cheeseman age 19
Emma Cheeseman age 1
Don't know whether this will help any, maybe to follow up for your Joseph c1871
Being we have been stuck for over thirty years, I mainly concentrate on the will lists, but could see nothing for you.
Regards Beryl

Dear Micheal,
Please contact me, I suspect we are on the same line if your WILLIAM CHEESEMAN was married to Ann Neal, and living at Camberwell, London, England.

I am searching for info on my ggg grandmother. She was born Christian MacDonald in Scotland abt 1816, married John Stewart in Scotland and immigrated to Australia. John Stewart died bwn 1851-1853 when Christina married John Cheeseman in Wagga Wagga. John Cheeseman was originally from Kent, UK and was born abt 1813 and died in Wagga Wagga in 1883. Christina & John Stewart had 6 children. Christina & John Cheeseman had one daughter - Amy born 1860. Last reference to Christina I find is in 1875. From John Cheesemans death cert it appears that Christina has already died but does not actually state that he is a widow.
Would love more info on Christina & John Cheeseman. And also more info on their descendants.
