My grandmother, who passed away in 1969 had left several photos of "Cheek" relatives.
Okay. just counted and only 4 photos. My great grandmother was America Cheek, born in 1857 in Perry County, Illinois. Just trying to tie these people in with my great grandmother. If you would like a copy, and can hopefully identify any of them for me, I will gladly email a copy to you!

Well if I would have read through all the posts on that thread, I would have seen that we all had this discussion, years ago!
I do have some photos of probably Cheek Cousins. They only had written on the back, either "my mothers(America Cheek) kinfolk" or my mothers(America Cheek) cousins". In my grandmothers handwriting. If anyone is interested send me an email and I will send a copy of the photos.

Hello,
My name is Susan Long. & I descend from the #2 James Cheek above. America Cheek was my great grandmother. I believe that your James Cheek #1 & James Cheek #2 are two totally different people. #2 James was married 2nd to Sarah Pierce/Pearce about 1869. His first wife was Permelia Hall, & they lived in Perry County, Illinois. The 3 children you listed for him are children of Permelia Hall & James A Cheek. Priscilla, America & Maram.

Clyde is pictured in the 44-D class yearbook of cadets training at Marfa Army Air Field in Marfa, Texas. He is one of the aviation cadets. I'm not kin but thought this might help someone researching the family.
