Frank,
YOu already have a good start! Unfortunately, you may have the same problem that I have. I also have word that my Cheek(Nancy Ann LNU Cheek) was married to Joseph Hiram Gilbert in the 1780's period, was also native american, but almost everything I have been able to uncover related to a Belgium background. Look intothe best data I have found at CheekFamilyChronicles@aol.com....... Afraid that is the best I can do for you.May God Bless you and yours!

Hi and Welcome to the CHEEK family board..Here is some (hopefuly) helpful tips for when we post... we need to put as much information as possible in order to help you out.. such as, where was your grandmother born? do you know any dates, such as, her birth date or of the child, date married (on any of them), when your grandfather was born or died what state/s did they live in and where they were when they died?, did he ever remarry, maybe sibling/s of the child/grandparents, ect.. There are alot of very knowledgeable CHEEKS here on the board and out there across the Nation and they are very ready to help any Cousin, whether by blood or name, so any info that you can give to jogg a memory - put it down, everything/anything may help.. We recomend that living persons info should not be posted for alot of reasons, unless you have their permission, but still think about it before doing it..not everybody is into genealogy.. Also check out this CHEEK board and maybe you will find!
some info here that is helpfull. My CHEEKS are from Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Missouri, where they stayed, some of the other surnames connected are, UNDERWOOD m. CHEEK abt 1880, WHITENER m CHEEK abt, 1880, HAHN m. CHEEK abt. 1834, NOEL m. CHEEK abt. 1812, ALSTON/BLAKE m. CHEEK abt. 1745 <(Im confussed on these two surnames ALSTON/BLAKE),also RANDOLPH m. CHEEK abt. 1720, DYER m. CHEEK abt.1690's.. And remember dates, states and any other info will help.
Good Digg'n and looking forward to your posts,
genelistmom, Admin.
