Hello, I am new to this list The email asked that I give a brief outline
of my Cheek line.
Elizabeth Cheek, b. 12 Dec. 1808 NC, at age of 4 moved with her parents to
Cape Gir. Co., MO married Hiram Lee 11 March 1827, Cape Gir. Co. MO. This
info is from Elizabeth obituary and marriage Cert. The marriage cert. also
states "consent of parents" and both of Cape Gir.
By 1830 they are on census in Madison County, other areas of MO later and
finally to Oregon in 1863. Elizabeth dies in Cottage Grove, Lane, Oregon 12
Dec. 1893. I have children's names.
Does anyone have info on the children of Randolph Cheek that died in Cape
Gir. County 24 Jan 1816? There are 2 other Randolph Cheeks in C. G. County.
I have never been able to find her parents, some list him as the Randolph
Cheek that dies in Smith Co., TN, I have info. on him but does not list
Elizabeth as a child. I am happy to exchange information and appreciate any
help.
Stephanie Miller
