Do you know if your CHEEK is any kin to Sarah/Sally Cheek/Chick that married
Joseph Yager Oct. 16, 1806 in Culpeper, Va.?
Would love to hear from anyone that can relate to this couple.
Thanks,
Guilda

The only information that I have on JANE DEMPSEY is that she was born in Pennsylvania somewhere around 1834. I was told that she was 15 when married. JOHN W. CHEEK was born 9/23/1833. They were married 11/191949. When their daughter SARAH CATHERINE was in 1865, they were living in Perry County, Illinois. Do you think that you may have any information on Jane and John Cheek?

Hi Susan
I've discovered that my GGGgrandfater ,Ashere S. Cheek, married Permileon
Webb in Washington Co. ILL. Thier son Wm Euphrates "Frieght" Cheek married
Nancy Jane Ham whom you also have a picture of from a common negative. That
first marriage in Wa Co makes it ever more likely that those cheeks are
related. Good to heqar from you again.

I am looking for information on my great-great-great grandparents. JOHN W. CHEEK (b 23 Sep 1833, d 19 Jun 1893) married JANE DEMPSEY on 19 Nov 1849. This information was listed in the family Bible. They had 11 children. The only information that I have on Jane is that she was 15 when they married, putting Jane's year of birth around 1934. Their daughter SARAH CATHERINE CROUCH WILKERSON's death certificate listed Jane's place of birth as Pennsylvania. I have no other information on either John W. or Jane.
