Sandy,
If you hear from Bill Cheatham please let me know.
I have just sent a photo of an Old relative of his -
A William( Bill) Cheatham - of Gallatin TN with
my father, Clyde Fields. My understanding is that
he married a "Dru' Rodgers - daughter of Willie
virgil Rodgers and a Louisa Skimmerhorn (he notes
that she had a differenct name) Willie and Louisa
were married in 1914 and fits all of my information. The strange part of this is that my name is Fields and all
of my father's side of the family came from Smith
county in TN. I'm sure you have checked the good
Census records that Smith County has published...
anyway...if you have time let me know if you hear from him.
I am in need of finding out who 'Dru' really was.
I know that she is buried somewhere in Sumner Cty.,
in Tennessee...Thanks

Hi Bill,
Maybe you can help me. I am searching for information on my ggg-grandmother. Some say her name was Mary Cheatham and others say it was Mary Spain. She was born in 1794 or 1795 in Virginia and married a William Fiveash/Fivash. I know he was in Smith Co., Tenn. in 1809.
If you could help me I'd appreciate it.
You may e-mail me at sandyned66(a)sbcglobal.net
Thanks,
Sandy
