CHEATHAM_Hugh_N_1890-1917.JPG
I photographed this gravestone in the Mount Olivet Cemetery - Alamo Lawn Section, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas. Feel free to use the picture for your personal records.
This is one of the 114,311 cemetery photos free at http://teafor2.com
I have a Robert Cheatham son of William Z. Cheatham and Thelma Adams.
William son of George Washington Cheatham and Maryan Susan Elizabeth Snell
but don't have Martin listed as his brother, nor do I have any dates for any
of the above.so don't think these would be the ones you were looking for.
Then I have a John M. Cheatham son of Gutredge son of Peter who moved here
from England in the early1700's and moved to Ala. in 1828. No dates on any
of the above either nor do I know what theM stands for. Afraid I am not much
help. Laura

Martin was born in Va in 1803 and Robert supposedly born in Wilkes County, NC abt
1812? Martin ended up in Wilkes, married Mary Elizabeth Cass and raised 14
children. They had no parents...think they dropped in from outer space or the

Though not addressed to me, I am a direct descendant of Eliz/Peter Cheatham. Most of my information was from Bill Cheatham, wtcheatham(a)AOL.com: He has extensive records of the original Thomas Cheatham and his descendents.
