I am not sure where the Wilson came in. My ggrandfather's name was Jeff Wilson who died in 1895 in prison. That is all I have on him. He was married to Alice Cheatham and she died in 1900, buried in Skullyville Cemetery in OK.

Albuquerque Journal - May 27, 1998
Lawrence Dean Cheatham Jr. (Rouchet) was born September 28, 1965 in Torrance, CA, to Lawrence Dean and Delores Sami Douglas Cheatham Sr. Larry passed away peacefully at his Kaysville home, surrounded by his loving family on May 24, 1998, after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry's whole world revolved around his family; riding mini bikes with his children, camping with his sons, dancing with his daughters, and watching his beloved son grow and play, spending time with all his nieces and nephews. These are the things that made Larry happy and so very special to everyone who knew him. He touched everyone with the twinkle in his eye and the curl in his smile. Larry was a very successful, hard worker, always independent and self employed. Words cannot express how much Larry will be missed, but he is etched in our hearts forever as he climbs the stairway to heaven. Larry is survived by his wife, Lahna Cheatham; and his children, Cory Lawrence Cheatham, Crystal, Cassie and Cody!
Chapel, Utah, and Daniel English, NM. Also surviving are his mother, Delores Sami Douglas; Janet Finch, NM; second mom, Judy Polete, UT; and mother-in-law, Lana Sing, AK; father-in-law, Carl Sharp, AZ; grandfathers, Dee Bullock, UT, Daniel Salisbury, ID; sisters, Kimm Oldfield (Boyd), Yocham; and brothers, Dee Yocham and Scotty Yocham, UT; uncle, Duane Casey (Mae), FL; nieces and nephews, Tessa, Brody, Scott, Lani, Justin, Cami, Jesse, Jacob, Scott and Allen. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Dean Cheatham Sr.; and grandmothers, Hilda May Bullock, Mae Casey; and grandfather, Glen Casey. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 1998, 11:00 a.m., at the Fairfield LDS Chapel, 550 No. 100 E., Kaysville, UT, where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment Kaysville City Cemetery. Special thanks to the Meadows Ward and Bishop Johnson for all their loving help during his illness. Sincere thanks also to Vista Care nurse and fr!
iend, Allison Green. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for the children in Lahna's care at First National Bank, 980 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, UT 84041.
Jan--
Barnett was married to Manerva Wilburn. Think she was born in AL also in
1814. Barnett Cheatham was the father of Margaret Elizabeth Cheatham who
married Stephen Criner. Barnett and Manerva (Minerva) lived in Newton County,
AR. Barnett surveyed the road through Newton County, I think it is #7, not
sure. They also had another daughter who married Stephen Criner's brother, I
think it was Joseph (?). I haven't been working on my Cheatham line for some
time now--so everything isn't real clear. Guess I will have to pull out my
Cheatham file and refresh my memory. Think Barnett was born in VA. Hope some
of this helps. Barnett was my gggrandfather. Hope I have helped some.

Could this Barnett Cheatham, possibly be named Bonaparte Cheatham born 1817
in KY. Mother Jane Farmer Boles. Father was John Cheatham, but he and Jane
never married. Think he died in KY. I have been searching for him and also
his father John. Let me hear from you, if there might be a connection.
Thank you.

I descend from BARNETT CHEATHAM CONLEY, 1828-1917. His mother was RHODA
CHEATHAM, 1805-1869. She was born in Georgia and died in Crawford, Co.
Arkansas. I think you and I are probably cousins. I think I have the parents
and siblings of Rhoda somewhere, but can't find them right now. Please keep
in touch. Shirley

a research source it will become. Post your information directly to the
board, and within moments the post will also appear on our mailing list.
However, PLEASE do not include information on living persons... just not a
great idea in general, and not really pertinent to our search for ancestors.
Also, since posts to the board will be seen by a wider circle of CHEATHAM
family researchers, you may get responses from people who are not on our
mailing list. To be sure everyone sees the resulting discussions, you'll
need to respond directly to the message board....the URL will be in the post.
Continue posting your CHEATHAM material to the message board throughout the
month of January, and lets see if we can make some new connections!
Thanks...take care, all,
LaRae
