You said your grandfather was born in TN. Who was your grandfather or your
great grandfather? I am searching the Cheatham family born in TN.
I am researching the Josiah Cheatham (b) 12/15/1836 in Tn. or Va. His son
was born around Paris TN. I think Henry Co. or Benton Co.
Josiah's father was John Cheatham (b) 1789 Va.
Please email me if these names sound like some of your names. I have lots of
on them.

Recently I found an article from the Goodspeed's History of Shelby County,
TN that states that John marries a Mrs. Charlotte W. Cheatham on January 17
1882. Looking for any information on Charlotte as to maiden name. With the
name of Mrs. Charlotte W. Cheatham in the article, this leads me to believe
she was married to another Cheatham before John Anderson.
John Anderson Cheatham is son of Leonard P. Cheatham and Elizabeth
Robertson.
Any help would be appreciated.
