Re: Sufronia--that's such an odd name, I would be surprised it this wasn't her: Sufronia "Fronie" McGirt (nee Hardin), b. Sep. 4, 1911, c. June 15, 1893. Her Findagrave entry says her spouse was Marvin McGirt, There are also people in the same cemetery with the surnames Chavis and Locklear - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GScid=2203873 (though no Joseph Locklear)
Sufronia - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2203873&GRid=75232...
This info about Marvin and Sufronia appears to be correct, based on 1940 census for Lumberton, Robeson, NC:
--Marvin McGirt, head - Born about 1911 NC. Race: Native American
--Sophrone McGirt, wife - Born about 1915 NC. Race: Same
--Josephone McGirt, daughter - Born about 1933 NC. Race: Same
--Eva McGirt, daughter - Born about 1930 NC. Race: Same
--Eva McGirt, daughter - Born about 1938 NC
--Buddy McGirt, son - Born about 1935 NC. Race: Same
THese are probably Marvin's parents and siblings, listed in 1920 census, Pembroke, Robeson, NC:
--Henry McGirt, head, b. about 1892 SC. Race: Native American
--Mary McGirt, wife, b. about 1891 SC. Race: Same
--Marvin McGirt, son, b. about 1912 NC. Race: Same
--Callie McGirt, daughter, b. about 1914 NC. Race: Same
--Nannie McGirt, daughter, b. about 1917 NC. Race: Same
--Marthea/Martha McGirt, daughter, b. about 1919 NC. Race: Same
(FYI there's another Marvin McGirt living in Robeson in 1920, born around the same time as your Marvin but it's not your Marvin, as he's listed as white)
Marvin registered for the WW2 draft - stated was born May 25, 1911 in Robeson County, NC and was employed at Fort Bragg in Lumberton, Robeson, NC
