Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

There was a John CHAVIS who was a preacher, teacher and mentor who had a son Phillip CHAVIS born about 1730 had a son, Wiliam CHAVIS who married Lottie, but her maiden name is unknown and he past away before 1818. Lottie then married on 14 Apr 1818, in Granville Co, North Carolina. Littleton TABORN,was a son of William and Nelly EVANS TABORN. William H. BROADEY came to Saline Co, Ill., with my Stepmother Ida Mae CHAVIS and her two sisters, but never revealed his stepdaughters mother's identity, although their last name was CHAVIS and BROWN. William BROADEY married Mary Ann ANDERSON BLACKWELL in 1898 in Saline Co. Ill., and past away 20 Apr 1909 in Carrier Mills, Saline Co.,Ill., at the age of 74. My stepmother Ida Mae CHAVIS was born in 1903 and married my father William Davis heir to Charles Phillippe IV King of FRANCE in about 1921. My stepmother past away in 1933, Carrier Mills, Ill. My stepmother Ida had a sister named Lela Vicki BROWN she also used the name spelle!
