COLUMBIA BASIN HERALD, MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON STATE.
Jose G. Chavez was born Feb. 7, 1979 and entered eternal life Aug. 6.
Joe enjoyed spending time with the joy of his life, his loving son, Julian. He also enjoyed being around family and friends whether it be at barbecues, gatherings or sporting events.
Special moments were hanging out with his buddy Anthony and his pet boxer, Niko.
As we lay to rest our loving farther, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Joe Chavez, we pray the Lord lay his hand upon him.
His loving qualities such as his smile, laughter and kindness will be greatly missed by all those whom he touched. His life will continue through our fun-filled memories. Our hearts will be consumed with thoughts of love and prayers as he enters his new journey.
Joe is survived by his mother, Pita Cervantes; son Julian; sisters and brothers: Irene Chavez, Diane (Eric) Gonzalez, Darling (Jamie) Veliz, Ray Ray (Jessica) Cervantes, Johnnie Cervantes, girlfriend Monica Martinez and dear friend Anthony; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; long-time friends Miles Smith and Becky Adams will miss him too.
