I have some questions about Nicolas Chauvin de la Freniere. He was among the
Frenchman killed before a firing squad. 230 years ago this October if I am
correct. At that time did he just have the two children Catherine and
Marguerite? I understand Marguerites husband was also put to death and she
was to have given her son the scarf from her husband. I am curious as to
what happended after all of this? The book I read says, the King of Spain
confiscated all of the property for the treasury. Is there any more information?
Also does 'Frenchman' Street still exist?
Thanks
Pat

I have been reading some about Nicolas Chauvin. In any of the history books
etc, was there ever a sketch, or picture done of him. I don't know what we
had in the way of doing 'pictures' then, maybe just a drawing or likeness.
thanks
Pat
