Hi Janice,
I thought I would write and see how the family tree investigation is going. I haven't had time to work on it
lately. I see where Diane has posted a reply. She has
a lot of information that I don't have. Plus she's a lot older
than me so she remembers more. Ha. (only 2 years)
I will talk to you later.

Hi Janice,
I am the middle child of Clotiel Chaudion Leonard. Uncle Joe was mam's oldest brother and I remember you when you were a little girl. You have also met my husband before at the Budget Saver Store in Vidalia where he was the market manager.
We have a first cousins reunion every year at the Woodman of the World building at Sandy Lake and would love to have you attend.
Ida Mae Cockerham can give you all the details.
I have met and emailed a cousin, from this site, who has shared some info with me about Grandpa Chaudions side of the family. She was raised by her grandmother who grandpas sister so she knows some family history.
I have a lot of pictures and things to share also. I can email you what you want to see.
You can email me anytime at missde_di(a)yahoo.com
Bye

My name is Robbie Robinson Teters. I am part of the Shadowens line from LA/TX. Our line goes back to VA, KY, ARK, etc. I will try to give you information as I know it on our family and maybe this will help someone or fill in the blanks. I have a picture of “Mandy Ann Shadowen Parker, John Parker, Louise Parker and her husband, Pearl Breedlove Shadowen, Major Ezelle Shadowen, Buford Shadowen and Levenior Shadowen”. If anyone is interested, please email and I will forward. There is also a separate picture of Major Ezelle, Mandy Ann and a lady who I consider to be Dolly Woodrum Shadowens but I am not positive about her. All of the names are written on the back in pencil so it is hard to read but I think it says 1930 by Fox Films.
I am Robbie and my mother is Patsy Ruth Timmons, who is the daughter of Reathel Emaline Shadowens Timmons. Major Ezelle Shadowens b. 1880 and Malinda Pearl Breedlove were Reathel’s parents. Their other children are: Willcie b. May 20, 1902 and died November 10, 1902 as an infant, William Leonard b. July 24, 1904, Robert Buford b. June 9, 1908, Reuben Ezelle (major’s middle name given) b. Feb 12, 1915 and Levenior Ruth b. Apr 16, 1920. There may be more children but the above was taken directly out of Malinda Pearl’s bible which I have. If anyone would like a copy of the handwritten notes on births, deaths, marriages, I will forward.
Major Ezelle’s parents were: Holland Coffee Shadowen (Shadion) b. 1842 and Dolly Ann Woodrum. Other children to them were: James, Amanda, Susan, William, Annie and Jack.
Holland Coffee’s parents were: James Chaudoin born around 1800. This is the same James that was married to Patsy Dubois on Jan 8, 1848. The following children were James’ but I am not sure about who the mother was. John, Sam H, Susan, Almira, Belinda, Nancy and Benjamin.
James Chaudoin’s father was David Chaudoin who was married to a Mary (?). David had the following children: James, David Jr., Mary. *I read that David Sr, Mary, and David Jr are all buried in the Cheekville cemetery, Whitehall, TN but I have not verified.
Mt. Zion Cemetery is where Holland Coffee and Dolly Ann are buried along with a lot of their children.
This is a general overview of what I have. I do have more information that is person specific. If you connect to this line and would like to share information, please email me at drteters(a)hotmail.com
