Audrey,
This may be old news to you by now but I read an obit about Dorcas Emily Chaudoin, daughter of Martha Ellen and Pleasant Chaudoin--Born 31 Mar 1858 and dparted this life
1 May 1934. She was married to W.G. Wallace in 1898. Who
preceded her to the grave by 2 years and 5 months.
It's been a while since I've done any family research. Just started back. I have a new email address now.

I believe that the Standifers have some connections to the Heards and the Meadors(Meadows). Mary Meadors Heard KIlmer is suppose to be the mother of our Early Kilmer. I can find a James and a Jacob Kilmer in Marion County, Tenn. in the 3rd District in 1836. The Kilmers are my husband's line.
I started looking 10 years ago for a Mary Pyburn who went from Ga., Tenn, to Mo. and finally to Texas between 1820-1900. I as descended from a Mary (unknown) Pyburn Roberts in Wise County, Texas. I can find her on the1850 census married to an Eli Roberts. Obviously, something has happened to her first husband Mr. Pyburn. I can not find her with Nancy Elizabeth PYburn(my great-great-grandmother). In 1908, Mary Pyburn Roberts stated she had to go back for her daughters-one being my Nancy.

Thank you so much for answering. Would you mind sharing some of the families they married into before and after they came to Marion County?

The Chaudoins of Marion County are all the family of one man, David Sr who was born in Chesterfield Co Va 15th Feb 1766. James and David Jr are his sons and Mary is his daughter, Calvin is the oldest son of James. They came to Marion Co by way of Green and Hart Cos Ky, circa 1818, James coming first and the rest soon afterwards. David Sr and wife Mary, David Jr and daughter Mary are buried in the Cheekville cemetery at Whitwell Tn. James raised a family of two sons and five daughters and died there the 29th of Oct 1837. His wife is unknown. James' son David Franklin is my grandfather, who was born, lived and died in Marion Co Tn. At least some of them were Cumberland Presby with Huegenot background.
Hope this helps, I can give a bit more if you need it.
