Melvin F. Chaudoin
ATLANTA -- Melvin F. Chaudoin, 81, of Atlanta died 5:30 a.m. Friday (Dec. 7,
2001) at the Christian Village Home, Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Atlanta,
the Rev. David Venter will officiate. Burial with military rites by Atlanta
American Legion Post 341. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at
Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta United Methodist Church or the Atlanta
Rescue Squad.
He was born March 1, 1920, at Waynesville, a son of Lucian and Abbey Wampler
Chaudoin. He married Mary Graham on Sept. 14, 1941. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Connie (Kenneth) Timm, Atlanta; and Vickie
(Paul) Loercher, McLean; his stepmother, Helen Chaudoin, Waynesville; a
stepsister, Mary Sue Freeman, Waynesville; and a stepbrother, Coley Chaudoin,
Texas.
Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Craig Chaudoin, Chad (Brita)
Chaudoin, Robert (Angie) Timm, Amy Timm, Corey (Tiffany) Loercher, Eric
Loercher, and Justin Loercher; and one great-grandson, Dylan Chaudoin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one son, Gary.
Melvin was a retired contractor.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the
Atlanta American Legion Post 341, the Atlanta Masonic Lodge 165, and the
Atlanta United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed working with wood crafts and spending time with family and
grandchildren. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He will
be missed by all who knew him.

I'm sorry, but I do not have your Martha listed, but do have:
John MOODY who married Susannah AIMES (no dates on either). They had Lucy Jane MOODY who married William M. CHAUDOIN/SHADOAN 1805 in Bedford Co., VA. I have 9 children listed for them. Could John have been have been Martha's brother?
